New WWE Signing Heading To NXT

Shawn Michaels Triple H WWE NXT

A new WWE signing won’t be starting on the main roster.

On February 1, Jordynne Grace made her official debut as a WWE Superstar with an appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble Match. The star entered the match at number 19 and stayed in contention for over 22 minutes before being eliminated by Giulia.

The appearance was Grace’s 2nd in a Rumble match after she competed in the famous bout in 2024 while still part of TNA. Her run in the match turned out to be the first of several appearances in WWE throughout the year.

Grace’s re-debut in Indianapolis came just days after it was reported she’d signed a “multi-year” contract with WWE, although the details were unclear at the time.

Report Gives Insight Into WWE Plans For Jordynne Grace

According to a new report from Fightful Select, Grace will be heading to NXT for the time being, although there’s no word on whether she’ll appear on February 4.

“We’ve not been told she’s planned for tonight’s show, but will be near the Performance Center at least temporarily.”

Despite starting off in NXT, Grace’s WWE contract is believed to be a “main roster-level” deal, and as such, she isn’t expected to stay with the brand for long. As reported by Fightful the deal is for five years and will take the star through 2029.

TNA sources indicated that the company was interested in trying to re-sign Grace but always knew a new agreement was unlikely.

Shortly before debuting with WWE, Jordynne Grace claimed she cut short her TNA stay because Scott D’Amore was fired. This resulted in the company cutting around nine months from her contract, which allowed her to become a free agent in early January.
