New WWE Signing Could Still Compete Elsewhere
One of WWE’s new signings could still wrestle outside of the company.
On July 30th, Giulia announced she would wrestle her final match in Japan on August 18th. After wrapping up her commitments, the star will finally complete her move to WWE.
Giulia signed with the sports entertainment giant back in April after being introduced to fans at NXT Stand & Deliver. She was also in attendance for both nights of WrestleMania 40.
Despite the deal, Giulia remained in Japan to help head up Marigold after the company was launched by former Stardom boss Rossy Ogawa. The star spent five years with Stardom after signing with the company in 2019 before joining Marigold.
Giulia Could Wrestle Outside Of WWE
Following the announcement, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Giulia could continue to wrestle for Marigold at their biggest shows.
“My impression is they’ll allow her to go back for big shows like IYO SKY did on the last Sumo Hall show. Marigold is looking at the idea of four big shows a year, so I think that maybe WWE would allow her to go back for two, three, four shows a year, something like that. That’s a part of their working together relationship thing.”
When she debuts in NXT, Giulia is expected to be joined by Stephanie Vaquer, and Delta who are also set to start with the promotion soon.
