New WWE Romance Teased

It looks like romance could be on the cards for two WWE stars but it could spell disaster for one tag team following the events of NXT.

Brooks Jensen and Josh Briggs have been through the wringer during their time in NXT. For months, they were involved in a long-running storyline with Fallon Henley and Kiana James. James showed interest in Jensen causing him to stray away from his friends but eventually, James did what everyone was afraid she’d do as she walked away from Jensen leaving him heartbroken.

Since then Brooks and Jensen have continued teaming but Josh Briggs had the opportunity to get some singles glory as he took part in a qualifying match for the Iron Survivor Challenge on the 21st of November edition of NXT. Briggs took on Carmelo Hayes in that bout and picked up the surprise win thanks to the meddling of Lexis King.

Tiffany Stratton & Josh Briggs To Join Forces In WWE NXT?

After the match, Briggs was congratulated by former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton who has already qualified for the women’s Iron Survivor Challenge by defeating Fallon Henley. Stratton and Briggs shared some small talk before she left and Briggs was confronted by Brooks Jensen and Henley who were less than thrilled that he was talking to her.

Should Tiffany Stratton get involved with Briggs, it might prove one love story too far for the tag team.

The Iron Survivor Challenge matches will be held at WWE NXT Deadline and determine number one contenders for the NXT and NXT Women’s Championships.
