New Sign That Randy Orton Is Close To WWE Return

Randy Orton poses on turnbuckle

Randy Orton could be working his way back to a WWE ring sometime in the very near future, after spending nine months on the sidelines.

Randy Orton and Matt Riddle had formed the popular RK-Bro tag team on Raw before Orton’s leave of absence. They held the Raw Tag Team Championship on two occasions before losing their gold to SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos in May 2022.

Since then Randy Orton has been out of action with no time frame given for a potential return for The Viper who had been struggling with a back injury that became progressively worse.

Now, a potential sign that Orton could be set for a return to the ring in the not-too-distant future has come from an unlikely source – his boot maker.

Mexican bootmaker Jose G. Sanz took to social media to answer questions and noted that he has received an order to make new boots for Orton as well as confirming he’s making new boots for Cody Rhodes to wear at WrestleMania:

“I haven’t made them yet but Randy Orton contacted me via email for his return. Currently, Drew McIntyre and Bray Wyatt are some of the biggest superstars. Today I received an order for boots for Cody for Wrestlemania.”

Whether that means Randy Orton will be wearing his own new boots at WrestleMania 39 remains to be seen.
