John Cena showered heaps of praise on 28-year-old WWE Superstar
The current roster is a mixture of WWE veterans and young guns, and it’s surreal to watch both generations in the ring at the same time. One such young superstar who is turning heads and gaining attention for his performance is Dominik Mysterio.
Dirty Dom’s work as a heel has been exceptional, and the heat he receives from the WWE Universe is evidence of that. John Cena showered praise on the current Intercontinental Champion during his appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.
Any pool we’ve dropped him in, he has not only treaded water, he’s swimming laps around everyone else. Dom Mysterio, we aren’t even close to what that kid is capable of. He’s incredible, and he’s going to be incredible for the next 20 years or as long as he wants to be in this business. He will be, and I love his dad [Rey Mysterio], he will be the most famous Mysterio.”
Cena’s first televised match against Dominik Mysterio was on April 8, 2024, on Monday Night RAW in a six-man tag team match. The duo had a singles match at SummerSlam 202,4 where Cena defeated Mysterio.
