Netflix Delivers Major Announcement For International WWE Fans

WWE star Cody Rhodes

Netflix had some big news for WWE fans.

Back in January, it was announced that Monday Night Raw would be moving to Netflix on January 6th, 2025. The deal, which could be worth a staggering $500 million per year will see the company’s flagship show leave broadcast television for the first time since its debut in 1993.

However, outside of the United States much more than Raw is heading to the streaming platform.

In an announcement on social media, Netflix confirmed that Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and all Premium Live Events will air on the platform from January 2025.

WWE is coming to Netflix UK/IE from Jan 2025, including:

Weekly episodes of RAW, SmackDown and NXT

All Premium Live Events such as WrestleMania and Royal Rumble

Select programming and historic PLEs from the archive

Everything in one place, all on your existing plan!

Roman Reigns Staying On WWE Raw

It was recently confirmed that several SmackDown stars including Roman Reigns will appear when Raw premieres on Netflix. But interestingly, it seems the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will be sticking around.

According to a new report, Reigns will be a regular on the red brand for much of early 2025, potentially all the way up to WrestleMania 41. Since returning to WWE at SummerSlam, Reigns has appeared solely on SmackDown, although he starred on Raw in the run-up to WrestleMania 40 during his feud with Cody Rhodes.
