NBA’s Tyrese Haliburton Set For WWE Video Game Debut
It’s official! Tyrese Haliburton will feature as a playable character in the WWE 2K25 game.
Haliburton’s Indiana Pacers are set to face the New York Knicks in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals. The two teams also played in last year’s playoffs, with the Pacers ultimately winning.
As the point guard looks to secure his team an NBA Finals spot, he received some exciting news that could boost his ambitions.
Haliburton appeared on the May 19 episode of WWE Raw as part of a pre-recorded interview with commentators Pat McAfee and Michael Cole.
It was McAfee who broke the news, as both commentators congratulated the 25-year-old for his special achievement.
The 2-time NBA All-Star expressed his delight during the broadcast.
I’m really excited. Obviously, I got the opportunity to come and be in the garden and experience that and get the ring a little bit. So I’m excited about being a playable character in the game. And, yeah, it’s going to be super cool. I appreciate the opportunity, and I’m looking forward to it.
Two Other NBA Stars To Feature In The Game Alongside Tyrese Haliburton
The WWE 2K25 Dunk & Destruction DLC Pack will release on June 25, 2025. Alongside Tyrese Haliburton, the pack confirmed the inclusion of two other NBA players, but their identities have yet to be revealed.
Meanwhile, WWE2K25’s official X handle shared a snap of Haliburton in all his animated glory.
