Natalya Names WWE Star Who Should Retire John Cena

Speculation around John Cena continues.

On November 10, a 16-man tournament will begin to decide John Cena’s final opponent at Saturday Night’s Main Event in December. However, before then, Cena’s scheduled to wrestle his penultimate match at Survivor Series.

Although the story is yet to pay out on television, it’s been reported that Cena will face Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series for one last shot at the Intercontinental Championship. But if Mysterio was also the man to send Cena into retirement?

During an appearance on Busted Open, Natalya put Mysterio’s name forward as the man who should end Cena’s career.

“I’m seeing so many people wanting it to be Dominik.

There’s something about Dom… you’re the son of one of the greatest professional wrestlers that’s ever lived, Rey Mysterio – how in the hell do you define yourself outside of your dad being one of the best professional wrestlers that’s ever lived?

Dominik has found a way to step outside of his father’s shadow. He’s so good.

I know there’s a ton of people vying for the spot, but I’m pulling for Dom. The more I think about it, the more I’m like, Dom would be the wildcard and it would be this ‘first ever’ moment that I think would be insane.”

John Cena Visits The Dungeon

Away from WWE, John Cena recently made a visit to The Dungeon 2.0 run by Natalya and TJ Wilson. Lifting the lid on the special appearance at the famous training facility, Natalya praised Cena for giving up his time, something she believes sets him apart.

For his part, Cena praised the “brilliance, ability, and generosity” of the WWE veterans for their work with anyone looking to learn.

Cena is set to return to WWE on the November 10 episode of Raw in Boston.
