Natalya Reveals Her Job Before Signing With WWE
WWE legend Natalya shares where she used to work before she signed up with WWE.
The Dungeon Diva joined WWE in 2007 and has been with the company since then. Over the years, her role in the company has changed. She has transitioned from a wrestler to a mentor, training younger talents in the promotion.
Maxxine Dupri has been training under her, and she recently won the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on RAW this week.
Natalya is not very active in weekly programming, but she still wrestles occasionally in WWE. She’s also been making waves outside the company with her new persona, No Nonsense Nattie (Nattie Neidhart).

That said, Nattie was a recent guest on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About podcast, where she revealed that before she joined WWE, she worked as a waitress at a restaurant.
“Whenever I go to Louis and buy myself something, I always think about how much it would’ve cost me when I worked at the restaurant. Because I wrote about working, I was a waitress before I ever, you know, got hired by WWE.
I was a waitress for many, many years. And so, anytime I buy anything expensive, I’m like, “How many shifts would that have been?” Yeah. I still think about that (From 11:28)
While speaking to Cody Rhodes, Natalya also disclosed that her first salary in WWE was approximately $500/week, as she had signed a contract with WWE worth $24,000 a year.
Natalya said, “My first paycheck in WWE, my first contract was for $24,000 a year.” (From 24:09)
The Queen of Harts also talked about a bunch of other stuff with The American Nightmare, like the time she wrestled Naomi with a broken ankle because she was too stubborn to walk away from the match.
