Naomi’s Expected WWE Return Timeline After Pregnancy

Naomi made her pregnancy announcement on the August 18, 2025, edition of Monday Night RAW and spoke about it further on a special bonus episode of Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story? podcast.

The Glow officially vacated the Women’s World Championship on this week’s Flagship show. In the podcast, she revealed her pregnancy was unplanned, discovered at seven weeks along the WWE road schedule, after enduring a No Holds Barred match, capturing the title at Evolution, and competing at SummerSlam. Despite stepping away for motherhood, Naomi reassured fans she intends to come back stronger, making her pregnancy hiatus a temporary chapter in her career.

Naomi’s pregnancy has been the talk of the town ever since she missed RAW last week. Since confirming her pregnancy, the wrestling world has been buzzing about it even more. Recently on the Story Timepodcast, Dutch Mantell predicted how long Naomi might be absent from WWE.

He predicted the ex-Women’s World Champion will probably take a year and a half off, similar to Becky Lynch’s recovery timeline after childbirth. He noted that returning to wrestling right after nine months is unrealistic; an extended break is necessary for a full comeback. Mantell also stated that Naomi will be a major fan favorite when she returns.

Naomi can take the nine months off, and she’s not coming back right after nine months. She’ll probably be out a year and a half at least because you just don’t come back from delivering a child and get back in the ring. You just don’t do that. How long was Becky Lynch out?
