Naomi’s Money In The Bank Plans Stopped Again On WWE SmackDown

Naomi tried to cash in Money in the Bank on WWE SmackDown, but she was unsuccessful yet again.

Ever since Naomi won the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase at the MITB PLE on June 7th, she has teased cashing it in on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. Unfortunately for Naomi, Nia Jax stopped her on multiple occasions to prevent a cash-in attempt.

At WWE SmackDown in Riyadh, Naomi interrupted a Queen of the Ring promo segment involving the finalists, Jade Cargill and Asuka. Whoever wins that match between Cargill and Asuka at Night of Champions will get a WWE Title or World Heavyweight Title match at SummerSlam on August 2nd or August 3rd.

That’s why Naomi showed up with a warning for Cargill and Asuka, claiming that she could take everything away from Jade Cargill like she has done in the past.

Cargill still has unfinished business with Naomi, so she tried to attack Naomi on the apron, but it didn’t work, and Cargill knocked Asuka down. Asuka got back up to punch and kick Jade. Asuka kicked Jade in the head to end it.

Naomi Tried To Cash In Money In The Bank During Last Woman Standing Match

The WWE Women’s Title was on the line as Tiffany Stratton defended the gold against Nia Jax in a Last Woman Standing match on SmackDown. Naomi made her presence felt there as well when she tried to cash in during the match.

Stratton was ready because she kicked Naomi to stop the cash in attempt. Stratton hit Naomi with the briefcase, and then hit Jax with the briefcase. Stratton slammed Jax onto Naomi in the ring. Stratton went up top and hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever onto Jax and Naomi at the same time.

That move by Stratton effectively took out Miss Money in the Bank, which led to Stratton finishing off Jax by hitting her with the Money in the Bank briefcase and Jax took a big bump off the apron, and through two tables at ringside.

Naomi’s cash-in attempt didn’t officially happen, so she still has the briefcase in her possession.
