Naomi’s MITB Cash-In Attempt Stopped By WWE Star

Naomi wanted to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase on WWE SmackDown, but she was told to stop by another wrestler.

The heel run of Naomi has been one of the highlights of SmackDown in 2025, as she has been a babyface for most of her WWE career, which has lasted nearly 15 years.

At Money in the Bank, Naomi did something she had never done before by winning the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. While Naomi has been a Women’s Champion and Women’s Tag Team Champion in the past, she had never won the Money in the Bank (MITB) before, so it was a huge accomplishment for her.

On WWE SmackDown in Lexington, Naomi said she saw some fans looking shocked, surprised, and stupid. Naomi said that she took what she deserved, and look at her now, Miss Money in the Bank.

As she spoke about her past, she mentioned that when she tried to take the WWE Women’s Title from Nia Jax last year, Tiffany Stratton was always there to stop her, and Stratton had the Money in the Bank briefcase. Naomi said, “Too Nice, Naomi” let it happen in the past, but she won’t let it happen now.

The WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton showed up to encourage Naomi to cash in and take Stratton’s title right now. Stratton claimed that it was the same old Naomi with all talk and no action. Naomi said she’s not stupid, and she’s going to cash in when Stratton least expects it. Naomi said she was going to make Stratton’s life hell, so she advised Stratton to proceed with caution.

Naomi’s Cash In Attempt Thwarted By Nia Jax

Even though Stratton has beaten the former WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax, it appears that Jax just won’t let it go.

After Naomi left, Nia Jax went into the ring to attack Stratton, but Stratton was ready for her. Stratton hit a dropkick, and she also had to punch Naomi on the apron. Jax was back up and hit Stratton down with a forearm. Jax hit the Annihilator splash on Stratton near the turnbuckle.

That’s when it appeared as though Naomi was ready to strike with a Money in the Bank cash-in attempt, but Jax told Naomi to move and not to do it at that moment. Naomi left rather than attempt a cash-in on Stratton.

It sounds like Naomi wants to cash in Money in the Bank soon, but Nia Jax is still clearly in the WWE Women’s Championship picture.
