Why Naomi Felt She Let Her WWE Fans Down With Her Pregnancy
Naomi is pregnant!
The Glow was absent from WWE Raw last week. She was scheduled to face IYO SKY in a singles match, but WWE canceled it as she wasn’t medically cleared to compete. This led the fans to speculate whether she’s pregnant.
This week, on the August 18 episode of Raw, she confirmed her pregnancy, stating that she is expecting her first child with husband Jimmy Uso. She also relinquished her WWE Women’s World Championship title after a 36-day reign. She expressed gratitude for the love and said she’d return to the ring after maternity leave and go after the title she never lost.
Naomi was overwhelmed while announcing her pregnancy. Even during her interview on Stephanie McMahon’s What’s Your Story podcast, she got emotional while speaking about it. Her husband, Jimmy Uso, chimed in and expressed her mixed emotions about the pregnancy. Uso said Naomi was happy but felt conflicted as the wrestler inside her was sad to step away from the ring at this point in her career when she was thriving. She is worried about letting fans down.

Jade Cargill posted, “Girl I hate you so bad!!! CONGRATULATIONS” with emojis. Becky Lynch joked, “How irresponsible getting pregnant as a champion,” referencing her own pregnancy-related title vacating.
