Even More Names Confirmed For First WWE Tryout Of 2026
The first WWE tryout of 2026 is shaping up with a strong mix of indie stars, athletes, and former TNA talent heading to the Performance Center in Orlando this week.
Independent wrestlers Starboy Charlie (GCW, AEW) and Jimmy House (ROH, Reality of Wrestling) have both confirmed their invites on Instagram, officially putting them on the list. According to multiple reports, the following names are also set to attend:
- Nor “Phoenix” Diana – Malaysian indie wrestler, former member of Bayley’s “Lodestone”.
- Joshua Hillen – Former U.S. Marine and strongman competitor.
- Regina Tarin – Mexican MMA fighter.
- Airica Demia – Former WWE NXT trainee, now on the indies.
- James Karnik – College basketball player with Eurocup experience.
- Bhupinder Gujjar – Former TNA/IMPACT Wrestling star, now in Maple Leaf Pro.
- Notorious Mimi – Indie wrestler, also training at Tyson Kidd & Natalya’s Dungeon 2.0.
Additional Indie Wrestlers Confirmed For The Session Are:
- “So Fly” Manny Lo – West Coast Pro wrestler.
- Jack Pasquale (Eye Black Jack) – DPW World Champion, indie standout.
- LaBron Kozone – Indie wrestler.

On WWE Recruit’s Instagram in September 2025, former WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green shared what really makes someone stand out at WWE tryouts. Here’s her advice:
So I’ve done four of these now, I think I’m a master of tryouts. It’s just the ‘je ne sais quoi’ of someone. It’s not necessarily the athletic ability, it’s not crazy hair, it’s not the most obnoxious. But there’s something that’s giving star power.
