MVP Targets Top AEW Star On Grand Slam Debut

MVP AEW

MVP finally clarified his future when he arrived in AEW at Dynamite Grand Slam and took aim at one of the company’s biggest stars.

The future of MVP has been the subject of intense speculation for some time after it emerged he had left WWE. The former US Champion might not be alone, however, as Bobby Lashley has also left WWE amid suggestions there could be a Hurt Business reunion in AEW that could also involve free agent Shelton Benjamin.

At Dynamite Grand Slam, Prince Nana was on hand to give an update on former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland following his loss in the sickening lights out cage match against Adam Page at All Out.

MVP Wants To Talk Business In AEW

Nana got as far as telling everyone that Strickland still wasn’t cleared to compete before he was interrupted by MVP. MVP laid the blame for Strickland’s recent losses at Prince Nana’s door and told him that when Swerve Strickland wanted to get serious he should give him MVP’s card so they can talk “business.”

Swerve Strickland had not been pinned in 2024 until he lost the AEW World Championship to Bryan Danielson at All In. That loss came two weeks before his more violent defeat at the hands of Page. It remains to be seen if he’ll be open to MVP’s advances or if he’ll keep the popular Prince Nana by his side.
