MVP Stuns AEW With Ex-WWE Champion’s Debut

Hurt Business WWE

There might be no stopping MVP now as he was joined by a former WWE champion making their debut in AEW.

The future of MVP has been the subject of intense speculation for some time after it emerged he had left WWE. The former US Champion might not be alone, however, as Bobby Lashley has also left WWE amid suggestions there could be a Hurt Business reunion in AEW.

That got one step closer at Dynamite Grand Slam as Prince Nana was on hand to give an update on former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland following his loss in the sickening lights out cage match against Adam Page at All Out.

Nana got as far as telling everyone that Strickland still wasn’t cleared to compete before he was interrupted by MVP. MVP laid the blame for Strickland’s recent losses at Prince Nana’s door and told him that when Swerve Strickland wanted to get serious he should give him MVP’s card so they can talk “business.”

And on the five-year anniversary edition of Dynamite, it seems MVP has not come to AEW alone.

MVP Brings WWE Back-Up To AEW

On that show in Pittsburgh, MVP was backstage when he promised a big announcement before he was interrupted by Prince Nana. Nana was not happy with what MVP had to say previously and reminded him he used to be a wrestler as well and could put his boots on again.

MVP noted that it sounded like Prince Nana had a complaint so directed him to the president of his complaint department which turned out to be former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin.

It is widely expected that Bobby Lashley will be joining his former WWE colleagues in AEW and it is expected the group will be known as The Hurt Syndicate moving forward.
