MVP Issues Stark Warning Ahead Of AEW In-Ring Debut

MVP AEW

MVP is ready to compete in his first match in AEW and it seems he’s got a serious message to send to his opponents.

The Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite will see the AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party team with Mark Briscoe to take on the full might of The Hurt Syndicate. MVP made his debut for AEW back at Grand Slam and soon reunited with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley making up three-quarters of the former Hurt Business faction from WWE.

In a video released by AEW ahead of that match, MVP has reminded the world exactly who he is as he gets ready to lace up his boots for the first time in AEW:

So it seems the AEW World Tag Team Champions Private Party along with Mark Briscoe have chosen to challenge The Hurt Syndicate to a trios tag team match. And while I respect Private Party, they are the AEW World Tag Team Champions, and Mark Briscoe, what a storied career he’s had, I question the intelligence of their decision.

I mean we’re talking about ‘The Standard of Excellence’ Shelton Benjamin, ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley because I’ve done such an magnificent job of praising my business partners, you’ve forgotten my accolades. You’ve forgotten that I am one of the longest reigning United States Champions in the history of the title. You’ve forgotten that I’m the first ever IWGP Intercontinental Champion.

And while I’m no NCAA All American or an accomplished mixed martial artist like Bobby Lashley, I am a Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt and an International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation Masters World Champion.

I’m not just adept at managing the affairs of The Hurt Syndicate, I am an expert at managing how much oxygen you can breathe. Wednesday night in Cincinnati for the first time in two and a half years, MVP’s taking off the suit and lacing up the boots.

Who’s Joining MVP On AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage Card?

Dynamite Maximum Carnage is set to be a huge show for AEW with a women’s Casino Gauntlet match made with a shot at the AEW Women’s World Championship at Grand Slam Australia on the line. Kenny Omega will return to the ring in AEW for the first time in over a year as he faces Brian Cage while HOOK will finally get his hands on Christian Cage.

Jon Moxley will put his AEW World Championship on the line against Powerhouse Hobbs after Hobbs earned a title shot in a Casino Gauntlet match on the previous week’s show.
