MVP Shuts Down Retirement Rumours As WWE Exit Nears

MVP WWE

MVP has hinted that his in-ring career is not over as he looks to be moving closer to leaving WWE.

On July 21st it was reported that both Bobby Lashley and MVP had been removed from WWE’s internal roster. This was followed by a further report that suggested both men were planning to leave the company.

Lashley hasn’t been seen on television since April, and he was later removed from the King of the Ring tournament due to an undisclosed injury. Meanwhile, MVP was last seen accompanying Omos to the ring for the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the eve of WrestleMania 40.

With speculation mounting over their future in the wrestling business, MVP has hinted he could be set for a competitive return to the ring for the first time since 2022.

Taking to social media, MVP shared a photo of his wrestling boots, adding the caption:

Dusted these off…

MVP also replied to one fan who noted that the boots did not look to be hung up, noting “Because they are NOT!!!”

MVP Determined To Continue In-Ring Career

Although he hasn’t wrestled since July 2022, MVP commented in May that he’s determined to get back in the ring before he finally retires. The veteran discussed the topic after travelling to Mexico for stem cell therapy in a bid to return to full fitness.

Should the star leave WWE, he will do so as a two-time United States Champion, and a former World Tag Team Champion.
