Mustafa Ali Announces World Tour Campaign
It’s Mustafa Ali vs. The World in 2024.
On December 21st, Mustafa Ali officially became a free agent after his non-compete clause expired, three months after leaving WWE.
After making numerous teases about his future on social media, Ali has now confirmed his next move — or should that be, moves. Ali will be embarking on a world tour in 2024, with several independent promotions announcing matches and appearances from the star.
Ali is due to face Gringo Loco in GCW on January 12th, before heading to Canada to appear for Demand Lucha on January 18th, C*4 on January 19th, and NSPW on January 20th.
Before the month is out Ali is scheduled to feature for Progress on January 28th in London for what will be his independent UK debut.
In February, Ali will head to Seattle with DEFY for their seventh-anniversary show, before taking on Mike Bailey in Prestige Wrestling on February 25th.
In the last two dates announced, Ali will wrestle Trey Miguel on March 1st in Chicago at Trouble Brewing, and make a stop in Destiny Wrestling on March 3rd.
WWE Had Championship Plans For Mustafa Ali
Ali’s release on September 21st by WWE caught many by surprise as the star had recently returned to NXT where he had become a regular. In fact, the star had been scheduled to challenge Dominik Mysterio at No Mercy for the North American Title.
This was followed by a report that suggested Mustafa Ali was supposed to win the North American Title at the event.
