Multiple WWE Contracts Expiring In 2024 Including Becky Lynch, Sheamus, & More
A new report details multiple stars with WWE contracts set to expire in 2024, with names including Becky Lynch and Sheamus.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, Sheamus, Becky Lynch, and Drew McIntyre are among multiple stars whose WWE contracts will expire in 2024. Sources indicated to Fightful that the Irish star’s deal could be up in the first quarter or first half of the year, but that has yet to be confirmed and there are many factors that could potentially change the timeframe.
Earlier this month, it was reported that WWE added time to Drew McIntyre’s contract due to injury. The Scottish star’s contract was originally expected to finish up before the end of 2023, but he is now said to be locked in until around the time of WrestleMania 40 in early April.
Commenting on his status ahead of WWE Superstar Spectacle in India, McIntyre told the Hindustan Times:
“I mean, I keep reading the internet myself. I just saw something earlier. The internet keeps talking about my future, I guess. But my focus is on the here and now like I don’t look to the future, I don’t look to the past, I look to the present.”
“And my job right now is just making sure we give everybody in Hyderabad the best show possible and I’ll continue to give the best performance I can give at every show and I can say I don’t plan to be anywhere else. That’s as much as I can give.”
When Does Becky Lynch’s WWE Contract Expire?
Back in April, it was reported that Becky Lynch’s contract expires in June of 2024.
Lynch is currently reigning as NXT Women’s Champion, having defeated Tiffany Stratton on the September 12th episode of NXT. She defended her title against Natalya on the September 18th episode of Raw, though she was originally scheduled to face Tegan Nox. Instead, Nox faced Xia Li on Main Event, a role originally slated for Natalya.
