Multiple TNA Stars Stretchered From The Ring
TNA’s latest TV taping ended in unfortunate circumstances.
Coming out of the latest TNA tapings in Detroit it was revealed that El Hijo del Vikingo and Chris Bey had suffered nasty-looking injuries.
Vikingo was injured during a match with Trent Seven after he hit a corkscrew to the outside and appeared to land awkwardly on his leg. The referee quickly threw up the “X” symbol and waved off the contest.
The AAA star was eventually taken out of the arena on a stretcher. In a post on his Instagram stories, Vikingo said he’s determined to come back stronger than ever, but declined to comment on the exact nature of his injury.
Vikingo had only returned to action on September 29th following a different knee injury.
“Thanks to my brother, Laredo Kid, for accompanying me and keeping an eye on me! I chose this sport, I am happy for the good and the bad. I will recover and come back stronger than ever. Thanks to everyone who sent me a message!”
Chris Bey Suffers Serious Injury At TNA Taping
During the same taping, it was reported that Chris Bey had suffered a serious injury and was taken away from the ring on a stretcher wearing a neck brace. At the taping, Bey was teaming with Ace Austin to take on the new World Tag Team Champions The Hardys.
A new update from Fightful Select noted that Bey’s match and the show ended after the injury, although there are no details on exactly how the incident occurred. Fightful adds that Bey was taken to the hospital with a neck injury where he underwent surgery. Bey is recovering, but details are being kept private.
Everyone at TJR Wrestling would like to wish El Hijo del Vikingo and Chris Bey a speedy recovery.
