Multiple NXT Stars Move To WWE Main Roster
WWE has quietly moved four NXT stars to the main roster.
In recent weeks, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson have been popping up on SmackDown with increasing regularity.
On October 11th the pair unsuccessfully challenged Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women’s Tag Team Titles, a week later Legend beat Piper Niven in singles action, and a week after that she wrestled in a Fatal-Four-Way Match.
Legend and Jackson were then put into a tag team Fatal-Four-Way at Crown Jewel where they again unsuccessfully challenged for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. While the pair had initially remained tied to NXT, it seems that’s no longer the case.
According to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, not only have Legend and Jackson been moved to the main roster, but their partners in the Meta-Four Naom Dar and Oro Mensah will be joining them.
“I don’t think they’re NXT women anymore,” Alvarez said about Jackson and Legend. “I think they’re officially main roster, although they’re still making appearances in NXT. I think all of Meta-Four is called up. It’s not official but I know people there who believe that all of Meta-Four have been called up, including Noam (Dar), who hasn’t even been on TV in like 6 months.”
WWE Preparing For Packed NXT
On November 6th, NXT will head to the 2300 Arena aka the ECW Arena in Philadelphia for a special Wednesday edition of the show.
At the taping, Bubba Ray Dudley will return to the ring when he teams with Trick Williams to take on Ethan Page and Ridge Holland. Elsewhere, Daw Marie will make her first WWE appearance in almost 20 years when she takes charge of the match between Jaida Parker and Lola Vice.
