More Bad News For Released WWE Star After Car Accident

Things have got even worse for a released WWE star.

In late 2025, Ridge Holland announced that he’d been informed by WWE that his contract wouldn’t be renewed when it expired in mid-November. This decision was greeted by anger in a lot of corners, as Holland is currently out of action after suffering a serious injury during a match in a TNA ring.

Holland later took to social media to vent his frustration, claiming that he was struggling to pay his mortgage, and it was subsequently reported that this decision caused WWE to terminate his contract early.

As the controversy around his departure continued to grow, a GoFundMe page was set up, with the likes of Chelsea Green, Kyle Fletcher, Nick Jackson, Omos, and more all donating. However, Holland responded to the GoFundMe with a statement where he claimed that he had no idea it was being set up and asked that no further donations be made.

That caused more backlash with Holland, then having to deny claims that he was a scammer. Sadly, his 2026 has not got off to a great start either, as the former WWE star took to social media to reveal that he’d been in a car accident. The front bumper and grill of Holland’s car were damaged, but he did not say if he had suffered any injuries.
