MJF Makes Surprise Return To Former Promotion To Attack Rival

MJF

MJF isn’t ready to move on.

At AEW Grand Slam Mexico, MJF unmasked Mistico as their match ended in a disqualification. But that doesn’t mean that the AEW star is ready to leave Mistico in peace.

During MLW Summer of the Beasts, Mistico came to the ring to address fans and what comes next for him as he looks to get back on track. However, as he began to speak, he was attacked by the Contra Unit. Although he was outnumbered, he dispatched each attacker one by one, until one final attacker low-blowed him from behind.

This final mystery attacker was revealed to be MJF, who was wearing the mask he stole at Grand Slam Mexico.

The Salt of the Earth promised that the pair would meet again, and when they do, he’ll beat Mistico within an inch of his life.

MJF Pushing Backstage For AEW Feud

Although he’s still determined to make life miserable for Mistico, a new report has revealed that MJF has been pushing to face Mark Briscoe. The report added that a storyline between the pair is “very important” to the former AEW World Champion.

The report came after Briscoe confronted MJF as he vowed to win the Casino Gauntlet Qualifier at Dynamite 300 before winning the Gauntlet Match itself at All In and going on to regain the World Championship.

Briscoe went on to win his own qualifying match, securing his spot at All In.
