MJF Reunites With Former Partner Outside AEW

MJF doesn’t have many friends, but he’s now reunited with a former partner outside of AEW.

MJF is not one for friends. His partnership with Adam Cole fell apart when Cole betrayed him and cost him the AEW World Championship. But The Salt of the Earth later admitted he was planning on stabbing Cole in the back all along as well.

At least one person loves MJF as he was recently married, but while his future looks bright, the former AEW World Champion has returned to his past to deliver some advice to an old partner.

MJF previously was part of Dynasty in Major League Wrestling alongside the likes of Alexander Hammerstone and Richard Holliday. At MLW Fightland, MJF made a surprise appearance backstage as he reunited with one of those partners.

During the segment, MJF gave Hammerstone some harsh home truths as he urged him to get his career back on track:

Six years ago, Dynasty, we’re on the top of professional wrestling. Six years later, I’m still on the top. And I’m saying this with love… I’ve had to watch you become a court jester… You are the best big man in professional wrestling today, and you walk around like you’re not the guy, and it makes me sick. I don’t know what’s holding you back.

MJF Faces TnT At All Out

At All Out on September 20th, MJF will clash with Mark Briscoe as Briscoe looks to get revenge on the villainous star. Briscoe chose his stipulation for the match on Collision, forcing MJF to face him in a match where thumbtacks and tables will take centre stage.
