MJF Makes Surprise Return At AEW Dynamite Holiday Bash

MJF entrance AEW Dynamite

Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite continued the holiday-themed episodes for the promotion as they hosted the Holiday Bash three-hour special, live from Manchester, England.

Several exciting matches were on the card tonight, and it also included a contract signing for the AEW World Championship match at World’s End between Samoa Joe, Hangman Adam Page, and Swerve Strickland.

Before the segment got over, the lights went out in the arena, and MJF’s music hit as the former World Champion made his return to the promotion for the first time since his match against Mark Briscoe at All Out 2025.

MJF added to the title match at AEW World’s End

He interrupted the contract signing of the World Championship match at World’s End and cashed in his guaranteed shot at the World Title, which he won via the Casino Gauntlet match at All In: Texas.

With his addition in the match, it is now a four-way match between four former AEW World Champions. Interestingly, MJF lost his Triple B at the 2023 edition of World’s End to Samoa Joe and has vowed to end Joe’s reign on the same show as Joe ended his.
