MJF Reacts To Losing Huge Title Match One Night Before AEW All Out
MJF isn’t happy about losing a championship, and now he has to face Mark Briscoe at AEW All Out.
Former AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (aka MJF) is a busy man these days.
In addition to regularly appearing on AEW television shows, MJF is also flying to Winnipeg to film the movie Violent Night 2, and he also competed at a major CMLL show.
On Friday, September 19th, MJF flew to Mexico City to compete in a huge match at CMLL 92nd Anniversario in Mexico City, where he defended the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship in a Title vs. Mask match against the legendary Mistico.
The match between MJF and Mistico was a bloody brawl that saw MJF tear Mistico’s mask apart, and Mistico bled throughout the match. While MJF came close to retaining his title several times, Mistico was able to apply his La Mistica armbar submission, and Max tapped out to give Mistico the win.
Writing on X/Twitter after the match, Max had an interesting message for his AEW All Out opponent, Mark Briscoe.
BRISCOE IM TAKING IT OUT ON YOUR ASS!!!!!!!

The MJF match with Mistico was in Mexico City, while the Briscoe match at AEW All Out is in Toronto with a 3 p.m. ET start time. That’s a long flight, and there’s not much time for Max to recover before stepping into the ring for another huge match.
