MJF Lands Another Major Movie Role

MJF

MJF is heading back to Hollywood.

As reported by Justin Kroll for Deadline, MJF has been cast in Violent Night 2. The movie is set to be released on December 4, 2026, but the plot is being kept tightly under wraps.

Kristen Bell, Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor, Daniela Melchior, Jared Harris, and Joe Pantoliano are also involved, while Tommy Wirkola will direct the project, written by Pat Casey and Josh Miller.

You can find a snippet from the report below.

The 2022 bare-knuckle holiday sensation Violent Night followed an embittered Santa, armed with lethal combat skills, who takes out a team of ruthless mercenaries to rescue a girl and her family. Now, it’s time for not-so-jolly Saint Nick to suit up again.

Violent Night 2 is produced by 87North founders Kelly McCormick and David Leitch through their first-look deal with Universal Pictures. Universal’s Executive Vice President of Production Development Matt Reilly and Director of Development Tony Ducret will oversee the project for the Studio.

MJF Unhappy Following Recent Wedding

MJF recently tied the knot with long-time girlfriend and fellow AEW star Alicia Atout. The couple celebrated the occasion with family and friends, including a lengthy list of AEW names featuring Daniel Garcia, Lexis King, Max Caster, Tony Schiavone, HOOK, Taz, Jeff Jarrett, Karen Jarrett, QT Marshall, and others.

However, MJF and Atout are said to be unhappy that photos from their wedding were being shared across social media.

It’s also been confirmed that Tony Khan moved Ring of Honor Death Before Honor so he would be able to attend. The event had been due to take place on September 5, but it was moved forward one week.

It’s already been anounced that MJF will meet Mark Briscoe at All Out on September 20, with a stipulation yet to be confirmed.
