MJF Costs Major AEW Star Title Shot Ahead Of All Out
MJF was back, causing chaos on AEW Collision.
In the main event of the September 6 episode of Collision, Mark Briscoe went one-on-one with Konosuke Takeshita. If Briscoe emerged victorious, he’d earn a shot at Kyle Fletcher’s TNT Championship.
However, just as he was closing on that win, MJF appeared from nowhere to throw Briscoe from the top rope, allowing Takeshita to claim victory.
MJF and Briscoe have been locked in a feud for several months, and again came to blows on Collision. When the pair were pulled apart, ‘The Salt of the Earth’ said Briscoe could name his time, place, and stipulation for a match. Briscoe said he wanted the match at All Out, but wasn’t ready to confirm the stipulation.
Also on Collision, it was announced that Jon Moxley will face Darby Allin at All Out in a Coffin Match.
Meanwhile, Big Bill laid down a surprising challenge to absent star Eddie Kingston. The former ROH World Champion has been out of action since suffering a series of serious leg injuries in May 2025. As recently as late August, Kingston claimed he was yet to be medically cleared to return.
MJF Gets Married
His appearance on Collision came just 24 hours after MJF married fellow AEW star Alicia Atout. The happy couple announced they were dating back in November 2023.
Several AEW stars were on hand to celebrate the occasion, including “Hangman” Adam Page, Sammy Guevara, Tay Melo, Darby Allin, Taz, Hook, Daniel Garcia, and Jeff Jarrett.
