MJF Brings Back Annual AEW Spectacle

MJF

Several AEW stars have MJF in their sights as the company announced the return of an annual match.

2019 saw AEW introduce the world to the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal with 12 stars taking part in a normal battle royal except that the last two men standing then faced off in a one-on-one match to claim the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

The first two men to face off for the ring were Adam Page and MJF with The Salt of the Earth picking up the win and he’s held onto the ring ever since.

In 2022, AEW made a change to the format and made it a classic battle royal with the winner going on to challenge MJF for the Dynamite Diamond Ring but in subsequent years Ricky Starks and Juice Robinson fell at the final hurdle.

MJF Announces Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal

Now, AEW has announced that the Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal is returning on the 4th of December edition of Dynamite and the first two competitors have already been revealed.

After MJF appeared in a video on the 27th of November edition of Dynamite to reveal the match was returning, two men who want to get their hands on him immediately entered. Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly declared themselves as the first two entrants with both men wanting revenge for what MJF did to Roderick Strong at Full Gear.

At Full Gear, MJF defeated Roderick Strong before attacking him with a steel chair leading to Cole, the Undisputed Kingdom, and Kyle O’Reilly coming to his aid. O’Reilly shoved Cole down in anger at having led Strong into his issues with MJF.
