Missing Star Tipped To Make AEW Return

Tony Khan AEW

An absent AEW star could be heading back to the ring.

Kamille hasn’t been seen on AEW television since being attacked by Mercedes Mone back in November.

Since then, there’s been a great deal of speculation around her future, with some reports suggesting she may never return to the company. This is despite only making her debut in July 2024.

Away from the ring, Kamille recently starred in “Queen of The Ring,” and during the media tour, refused to comment on her AEW future with a co-star, joking that she wouldn’t be answering any questions. This was followed by a report after Revolution that the former NWA Women’s Champion has become “persona non grata in AEW.”

AEW Boss Tony Khan Addresses Kamille’s Future

During an appearance on The Battleground podcast, Tony Khan was asked about Kamille’s status and whether she may end up clashing with Megan Bayne. In a somewhat kayfabe response, Khan said it will be interesting to see who Kamille goes after when, and crucially not if, she returns.

“That’s a great question. We don’t know who attacked Kamille, and the last time we saw her, she was attacked. We know she had a breakup with Mercedes Mone in their business relationship. Mercedes is flourishing since then. She’s done really well on her own. But Kamille, we haven’t seen her since she was attacked, and we’re not sure what that was and what that was about.

I do think that’s an interesting thought for sure, and it’s something to keep an eye on, but that would be a great matchup. When Kamille does return to get payback for that attack, it’ll be interesting to see who she goes after and what that was,”

With Kamille out of the picture, Mercedes Mone has added the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship to her TBS, and NJPW Strong Women’s Titles. Her next challenge will come on the March 19 edition of Dynamite when she defends the TBS Championship against Billie Starkz.
