Missing AEW Star’s Return Teased On Dynamite
One AEW star who has not been seen in quite some time is on their way back after a vignette teased their return on Dynamite.
HOOK made a brief return to AEW television at Double or Nothing as he made a cameo to help take out The Death Riders.
The appearance was his first for several weeks after he had disappeared without explanation. The star’s most recent match came on the April 9 episode of Dynamite, where he teamed with Opps leader Samoa Joe to defeat Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta.
After the match, a wild brawl ensued, and in the midst of the chaos, fans noticed that HOOK was vomiting during the segment. This sparked fears that he’d suffered a concussion or some kind of head injury, and it seems those fears were well-founded. Despite no confirmation from AEW, HOOK confirmed he was dealing with a concussion, leading to his layoff.
Now, on the 13th of August edition of Dynamite, it seems that it’s time to send for the former FTW Champion. A vignette aired on the show, teasing HOOK’s impending return, soundtracked by Jay Jay Johanson’s song ‘So Tell The Girls I Am Back In Town.’

Major Reunion Takes Place On AEW Dynamite
Dynamite also saw a major reunion take place as Christian Cage and Adam Copeland embraced in the ring. Cage saved Copeland from an attack at the hands of FTR before also fighting off Nick Wayne. The iconic team then hugged, seemingly putting their past issues behind them.
Christian Cage and Adam Copeland will now team together for the first time in 14 years at Forbidden Door when they clash with Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian. It is widely believed that they will be together in their hometown of Toronto at All Out with a match against FTR seemingly in the works for that show.
