Missing AEW Stars Not Officially Suspended

Tony Khan AEW

It seems two AEW stars who have been missing in recent weeks have not officially been suspended after one got too physical in the ring.

In November 2024, AEW Rampage saw Rush and The Beast Mortos of La Faccion Ingobernable teamed to face Alec Price and Richard Holliday – two talents that are not signed to Tony Khan’s company.

Reports from the time noted Holliday had to be checked by an AEW doctor after Rush got very physical during the match. LFI teamed one more time on the following edition of Collision, with The Acclaimed winning to move on to the AEW Tag Team Title match at Full Gear.

The Beast Mortos was part of the Continental Classic but Rush has been missing from action ever since as has the other member of LFI, Dralistico. The group is now under the management of Jake Roberts after Roberts completed a bizarre talent trade with Don Callis.

LFI Duo Not Suspended By AEW

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer was asked if the reason Rush and Dralistico were missing had anything to do with the Rampage match and it seems it does, even if it’s not an official suspension from the company:

I don’t think it was suspended, but they aren’t being used right now. I guess you could say suspended. I don’t think it’s an official suspension, they’re just not being used.

Dralistico, I have no idea when he’s going to be back, they weren’t doing anything with him anyway. Rush, at some point they’ll probably bring Rush back. Jake hasn’t been on the show, Mortos has been on a little bit, but that LFI thing has died off.
