Missing AEW Star’s Injury Issues Being Kept Quiet

One AEW star has been out for a year and it seems they could still be out of action for a while as the nature of their injury is being kept quiet.

At WrestleDream in 2023 Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler defeated Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher for the second time in their careers as FTR retained the AEW Tag Team Championship. But it was worse than not just winning the title for one member of Aussie Open.

Taking to social media Mark Davis revealed that he had been injured during the bout as his wrist was apparently broken:

“sometimes you win em, sometimes you snap your wrist”

Since that night Kyle Fletcher has struck out as a singles star as part of The Don Callis Family but Mark Davis has not been seen and there remains a great deal of uncertainty over his absence.

AEW Silence Over Mark Davis Injury

Fightful Select has reported that Davis is still recovering from what put him on the injured list but despite Davis’ own talk of a snapped wrist, it is noted that the specific nature of his injury has been kept quiet and those close to Davis want it to be his story to tell when he wants to.

There is believed to be no timetable for Mark Davis’ return – at least one that is widely known so it remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the ring.
