Missing AEW Star’s Contract Almost At An End
There is light at the end of the tunnel for one missing AEW star.
At AEW Revolution in March 2023, Danhausen suffered a very serious and very evil injury. Danhausen was in a four-team tag team match with Orange Cassidy against the AEW Tag Team Champions, The Gunns, The Acclaimed and Jay Lethal & Jeff Jarrett. While Danhausen put up a fight, he also took the pinfall when The Gunns hit their finishing move to retain the titles. Shortly after the match, Danhausen revealed he had suffered a torn pectoral muscle that required surgery.
Following his recovery, Danhausen returned to AEW TV in November 2023 but has not appeared at all for the company in 2024 or 2025, leaving many fans wondering about his future in the company. It had been reported that Danhausen’s deal had been extended against his wishes, but now it seems that freedom is in sight.
Danhausen Almost Out Of AEW Deal
Fightful Select has reported that, barring any more time being added to his deal, AEW sources have confirmed that Danhausen’s contract with the company will end in February 2026. The report noted that he has not been backstage at AEW shows “in ages” and is not factored into creative plans at all.
It remains to be seen if the face-painted star will follow the likes of Blake Monroe, Ricky Saints, and Ethan Page into WWE once his deal is up.
