Missing AEW Star Targets The Elite In Shock Return

Ricky Starks Darby Allin AEW

Darby Allin has not been seen in AEW since Double Or Nothing but now he’s picked up where he left off as he targets The Elite.

The last time AEW fans saw Darby Allin he was setting Jack Perry on fire at Double Or Nothing in the wild Anarchy In The Arena match. Allin teamed with Bryan Danielson and FTR to take on The Elite in that contest but it was The Young Bucks, Kazuchika Okada, and a slightly toasted Perry that came out on top.

The Elite are now getting ready for what is sure to be a brutal Blood & Guts match and on the 10th of July edition of Dynamite they added their fifth man as Hangman Adam Page relented and joined their team to be able to get his hands on AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland.

Strickland announced he would be the second person on Team AEW for that match after ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe was the first to declare for that squad. But it seems there is more trouble on the horizon for The Elite.

Darby Allin Sends Message To The Elite In AEW Return

Dynamite saw Brandon Cutler taken out backstage with black and white paint on his face. As the camera tilted up, it revealed Darby Allin standing over him and made clear he was setting his sights on the TNT Champion Jack Perry. Allin told The Elite:

The Elite…you really thought this was over? Dynamite 250…I promise you we’re just getting started.

Darby Allin has not officially been added to Team AEW for the Blood & Guts match but it seems likely he’ll be joining Strickland, Briscoe, and two other partners also yet to be named.
