Missing AEW Star Makes Shock Return On Collision (SPOILER)

AEW Collision stage

AEW Collision was taped after Dynamite on the 3rd of April and the Saturday night show saw a surprising return to the company.

Anthony Ogogo has not been seen on weekly TV in almost 3 years, last competing on an episode of Dynamite in June 2021, only competing on Dark and Dark: Elevation afterwards. The British star’s highest-profile match came at Double Or Nothing in 2021 when he lost to Cody Rhodes in a match that is remembered for the infamous UK vs. USA angle that surrounded it. Anthony Ogogo has claimed one segment in the build-up to that match was “f*cking dogsh*t.”

The Olympic bronze medalist made his return to TV during the zero-hour show at All In. Not only did Ogogo appear as part of the pre-show panel, but he would provide backup later on in the night. As Jeff Jarrett berated the live crowd as it was Americans who made it all possible, The Last Outlaw was interrupted by Ogogo, Paul Wight and a surprise appearance from Grado. The good guys soon cleared the ring of Jarrett and his crew to stand tall.

Since then Ogogo has had a couple of dark matches on Collision and has been seen more frequently as part of English promotion Revolution Pro Wrestling. But now it seems The Guv’nor is back in AEW.

Anthony Ogogo Makes AEW Return

On Collision which will air on the 6th of April Chris Jericho and HOOK teamed up to defeat Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty. After the match Anthony Ogogo made his presence felt as he helped Shane Taylor Promotions take out both Jericho and HOOK.

What the future holds for the Olympian in AEW remains to be seen but Shane Taylor Promotions has also been an active team in Ring of Honor in recent months as well.
