Missing AEW Star Retiring Very Soon
One AEW star has signalled that their career could be coming to an end in the very near future.
Although she signed with Tony Khan’s company in September 2022 after leaving WWE, Saraya’s former employer has never been far from her mind. This, combined with the star currently being on hiatus to work non-wrestling projects, has sent speculation about her future running wild.
In addition, Saraya added further fuel to the fire by admitting she could look to return to WWE when her AEW deal expires in September 2025.
Yeah, I love WWE. I appreciate everybody there, they made me, they gave me my career and I’m just appreciative of that. One day, who knows? I love my time in AEW though. My contract’s up with AEW in September so maybe I’ll stay with them, maybe not, I don’t know.

But, it might be the case that Saraya won’t be returning to WWE and her career could be coming to an end in the near future. Speaking to Sports Illustrated, Saraya admitted she’s been letting people defeat her as her time in the industry is set to come to an end “very soon”:
I’m letting people beat me, left, right and centre. I was on a losing streak, but I just wanted people to get their rub. I want to uplift everybody.
I’m not gonna be in wrestling forever. I’m coming to the end of it and it’s very soon. And I don’t wanna go out being like, ‘I need to be on top’.
Saraya has not been seen on AEW television since losing a four way match on the October 8 2024 edition of Dynamite. During her time in the promotion, the English star has held the AEW Women’s World Championship but since losing that gold in October 2023, she has only won three times in the company.
