Missing AEW Star Backstage At Dynamite

One of AEW’s recent missing stars was backstage at Dynamite in Milwaukee but still did not appear on the show.

In recent months there has been as much talk about some of the stars not on TV in AEW as those that are. Ricky Starks recently fired back over claims about his time in AEW while speculation persists that Starks is wanted by WWE and could be heading there when his deal with Tony Khan’s company ends.

However, one star that remains missing from AEW is Starks’ old Team Taz partner Powerhouse Hobbs. But a recent sighting had given fans of the former TNT Champion hope.

Powerhouse Hobbs At AEW Dynamite

Fightful Select reported prior to Dynamite starting that Powerhouse Hobbs was backstage at the show. It was unknown if he was just visiting or if the company had plans for him but he did not end up appearing on Dynamite so when he will make his return to TV remains unknown.

Hobbs has not competed since challenging Jon Moxley for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the 24th of April edition of Dynamite. It was during that match that Powerhouse Hobbs suffered a patellar tendon tear that has left him on the injured list ever since.
