Minimum WWE Main Roster Salary Revealed

A new report has revealed the basic salary of a WWE Superstar.

While wrestling is often filled with conversations about the earnings of the biggest names in WWE and AEW, little is known about performers at the end of the spectrum. In WWE, the likes of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and Charlotte Flair are all locked into multi-million dollar contracts, but what can a star just starting out on the main roster expect to make?

According to a new report from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the minimum main roster salary in WWE is $350,000 per year. There is no word on how much stars earn in NXT.

The current main roster minimum salary is $350,000 per year.

It was recently reported that Gable Steveson was released by WWE in part due to his huge contract. Steveson was handed a big money deal by the company in 2021 but struggled to make progress in the ring, it’s believed this left key figures feeling he wasn’t worth the investment.

Becky Lynch Expected To Land Monster WWE Deal

By contrast, it’s been reported by Fightful Select, that Becky Lynch is expected to be offered the biggest contract ever handed to a female wrestler when she decides to return to the ring. The star’s contract is set to expire on June 1st and she’s given little away regarding her next move.

The Man’s final match on her existing deal was a defeat to Liv Morgan in a Cage Match on the May 27th episode of Raw.

It’s believed Becky Lynch will be taking a lengthy absence from the ring, but most expect her to eventually return to WWE.
