Mina Shirakawa Vows To Be With AEW Champion Forever

Mina Shirakawa entrance AEW Collision

Mina Shirakawa has declared her love for a fellow AEW star.

On the November 16th episode of Collision, Mina Shirakawa wrestled in AEW for the first time since August. The Stardom star recently came back to AEW after her latest spell in Japan.

In the ring, Shirakawa saw off Harley Cameron, but arguably that wasn’t the highlight of her night. Later in the show, Mariah May defeated Anna Jay in a No DQ Match to retain the AEW Women’s World Championship. Due to an added stipulation, Jay can’t challenge for the title again while May holds the gold.

As May celebrated she was joined in the ring by Shirakawa, with the two friends now firmly back on the same page. The Japanese star had previously appeared conflicted when May was battling with Toni Storm due to her friendship with both women.

Following the reunion, Shirakawa went to social media to pledge her loyalty to the British star.

Mina Shirakawa Joining Mariah May At Full Gear

During Collision, it was announced that Mina Shirakawa and Mariah May would be hosting a Champagne Championship Celebration at Full Gear. With the announcement it was essentially confirmed that despite being Women’s Champion, May won’t wrestle on the show.

A number of fans believe the celebration could provide the perfect place for Toni Storm to make her return to AEW. Storm hasn’t been seen on television since losing the Women’s Title to May at All In. Since that crushing defeat, Storm has appeared in Stardom and CMLL.

In another storyline wrinkle, Storm also has an extensive history with Shirakawa going back to her previous run in Stardom.
