Mina Shirakawa Reacts To Heartbreaking AEW Betrayal

Mina Shirakawa on AEW Dynamite

Mina Shirakawa doesn’t know which way to turn.

Following the battle between Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa at Forbidden Door the relationship between the pair and Mariah May seemed intact.

In the run-up to the match, May had appeared torn between her loyalty for both women, but when the trio embraced in the ring after Storm retained her title, all seemed well. The three women hammered home the strength of their union with a somewhat bizarre appearance at the post-show press conference — something that’s become a Toni Storm staple.

However, the partnership between Storm and May exploded on the July 10th episode of Dynamite as the British star won the women’s Owen Hart Cup. As the celebrations began, May led Storm in a skip up the ramp towards the trophy, buying herself enough time to smash her friend in the face with the title belt.

May then whipped the AEW Women’s World Champion and nailed her butler Luther as well before throwing him off the stage through a table. Mariah May then watched for the shoe as she took Storm’s footwear and nailed her repeatedly in the head causing the blood to flow.

Mina Shirakawa Is In Shambles

Posting on social media following the attack, Shirakawa said she couldn’t sort out her feelings.

After her victory in the Owen Hart Cup, Mariah May will challenge Toni Storm for the Women’s World Title at All In. Meanwhile, Bryan Danielson will face World Champion Swerve Strickland at the same event after winning the men’s tournament.
