Mike Tyson Open To WWE Return
Mike Tyson would be delighted to be offered the chance to go back to WWE.
Mike Tyson has been a wrestling fan since childhood and has appeared in both WWE and AEW in the past. His most memorable moment inside the squared circle came in 1998 when he went nose-to-nose with Stone Cold Steve Austin on Raw.
Weeks later at WrestleMania XIV, Tyson counted the pin-fall as Austin beat Shawn Michaels to claim the World Championship for the first time.
During an interview with Bleacher Report, Tyson was asked about a return to WWE, and he admitted he’d love to go back, adding he’s always had a great time.
“Oh God, I would love to do that, that’s me at my childhood best, I had a great time.”
When asked who he’d like to face, it seems the boxing legend is still ready to take on the world.
“Shoot, all of them, let’s get a Battle Royal.”
AEW Star Turned Down Mike Tyson Fight
In the months between leaving WWE and signing with AEW in 2024, Bobby Lashley claimed he’d turned down the chance to fight Mike Tyson. Although he didn’t reveal why the fight never happened, Lashley admitted he’d love the challenge if the right deal was on the table.
“I was offered a Mike Tyson fight also. I was offered Mike Tyson several months back… As a competitor, as a fighter, I’m going to take a fight that comes my way. If it makes sense, I’ll do it,”
Back in November, 58-year-old Tyson returned to the ring to face Jake Paul in a fully sanctioned professional fight. The match was widely criticised and Tyson lost via unanimous decision.
