Mick Foley Details The Surprising Weapon That Always Hurt
Mick Foley has no shortage of experience with weapons, and now the WWE Hall of Famer has named one piece of plunder that always hurt.
Mick Foley is known as the Hardcore Legend for a reason. Foley captured his hardcore credentials in Japan as part of the infamous King of the Death Match tournament with Terry Funk in 1995. Foley is no stranger to chairs, tables, thumb tacks, fire, barbed wire, baseball bats, and famously, he was thrown off the Hell In A Cell at King of the Ring in 1998.
But there’s one weapon that can cause damage without even being hit by it.
Mick Foley Not A Fan Of Fire Extinguishers
Speaking on Maven’s YouTube channel, Mick Foley discussed a variety of weapons and admitted that a fire extinguisher always hurt, but not perhaps in the most obvious way:
Fire extinguishers are a funny thing. Usually, you’re getting sprayed with it, not hit with it. But the thing about the CO2 extinguishers is that it makes it really hard to breathe. Especially if you’ve been through a match and you’re gassing out already.
Panic sets in, because you’re used to being able to draw those breaths, or if you understand, ‘Okay, maybe I’m not in the condition I wish I was.’ Then you throw this on top of it, I’m gonna go with ‘it hurts,’ because I never had an experience where it did not.
