Mia Yim’s Name Change Apparently Scrapped

Mia Yim

The name change of recently-returned WWE star Mia Yim looks to have been scrapped by the company just after it was officially altered.

On the November 21st, 2022 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Mia Yim was labeled as “Michin,” which translates to “Crazy” in Korean. The prior week, “Michin” was referenced as a nickname for Yim, however, it appeared that the name was here to stay after her profile was changed on WWE.com, but now just days later, it looks like Michin might not have been long for this world.

Mia Yim’s WWE.com profile is now under the original name by which she is best known with all references to Michin removed completely.

The former TNA Knockouts Champion will be part of a huge bout at Survivor Series as Yim will enter the WarGames cage alongside Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, and a mystery partner that will be unveiled on the 25th of November edition of SmackDown. Those five women will clash with Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY), Nikki Cross, and Rhea Ripley in the double-ring cage match.

Mia Yim has only competed in one match since her return to WWE, defeating Tamina on the 14th of November edition of Raw.
