Mercedes Mone’s Next NJPW Title Match Made

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone has a lot on her plate with her current title collection and now she knows when she’ll next put her NJPW championship on the line.

Mercedes Mone recently defeated former WWE star Indi Hartwell at House of Glory City of Dreamz in her first indie match in 13 years. Following that win, RevPro announced that Mercedes Mone will defend the Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Kanji on April 20. The bout will be her first defence of the title she won back at Wrestle Dynasty in Japan and will serve as her official RevPro debut.

Mone currently holds three separate titles and that means a busy schedule for the AEW star with the next defence of her NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship now confirmed and it could see her get back in the ring with someone she’s very familiar with.

Mercedes Mone Defends Gold At Resurgence

It was Mina Shirakawa that Mone defeated for the Undisputed British Women’s Championship and now Shirakawa has a chance to meet Mone once again for her NJPW title. Shirakawa will face AZM at Windy City Riot on April 11 and the winner of that match will clash with Mercedes Mone for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship at Resurgence on May 9.

Mone does not currently have a match scheduled for her TBS Title at AEW Dynasty on April 6 but she’s been caught in a war of words that recently got physical with ROH Women’s World Champion Athena that could lead to a huge showdown between the two stars very soon.
