Mercedes Mone Unifies Title Before AEW Full Gear

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone might never lose again.

At WrestleDream, Mercedes Mone captured title number eleven when she defeated Mina Shirawaka for the Interim ROH Women’s Television Title. One day later, The CEO added a twelfth title to her collection at an independent show.

She missed out on a potential thirteenth title after she and Athena were shockingly knocked out of the tournament to crown the inaugural AEW Women’s Tag Team Champions. However, Mone didn’t have to wait much longer to earn her thirteenth title.

During House of Glory’s Superclash in Brentwood, New York, Mone defeated Nor Phoenix Diana to capture the APAC Women’s title for the first time.

Mercedes Mone Unifies Titles On Collision

Now, on a special November 19th edition of Collision ahead of Full Gear, Mercedes Mone took care of getting rid of the interim part of her Ring of Honor crown.

The ROH Women’s Television Championship needed an interim titleholder following an injury to reigning champion, Red Velvet. Velvet was back in action for the first time since June to face Mone in a match to crown the undisputed ROH Women’s Television Champion.

Mercedes Mone continued her impressive run as she picked up the win over Velvet to win the gold. Now, Mone will get the chance to win the biggest prize of all when she challenges Kris Statlander for the AEW Women’s World Championship at Full Gear.
