Mercedes Mone Tips Star To Become WWE Executive

Mercedes Mone AEW Dynamite debut

Mercedes Mone says one member of the WWE women’s roster is a natural leader.

Along with Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Charlotte Flair, Mercedes Mone helped redefine women’s wrestling in WWE. The Four Horsewomen began by taking NXT by storm and that success fed over to the main roster, paving the way for the likes of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, and more recently Tiffany Stratton.

During this period, the on-screen friends/rivals Mone and Bayley played a central role, and each storyline only brought them closer behind the scenes. And despite them now wrestling for rival companies they continue to support each other no matter what.

Writing in the latest edition of her Mone Mag, the star heaped praise on Bayley, suggesting she’ll eventually become a coach or even an executive.

“The subject of Bayley coaching the WWE’s women’s roster one day came up in conversation recently. All I can say is that she’s been a natural leader for years, and that coaching is something she’s always talked about.

I see her opening her own wrestling school someday, if not being an actual WWE executive when she hangs up her boots.

Even now, Bayley’s the go-to person backstage—always ready to help and elevate the women around her. She’s unselfish and passionate, constantly working to push the women’s division forward as a whole – not just herself. That’s a true role model and real leadership.

When you talk about the women’s movement in life, not just wrestling, Bayley epitomizes what it needs to be and should be.”

Mercedes Mone Admits Megan Thee Stallion Talks

In the same edition, Mercedes Mone reflected on Megan Thee Stallion’s Neva Play becoming the new theme song for SmackDown. Mone confirmed that her manager had spoken to Megan’s team about some kind of partnership, admitting she should have “kept my mouth shut” rather than dropping hints.

It remains unclear as to whether Megan’s new partnership with WWE will prevent her from working with Mone in AEW.

Mone hasn’t wrestled since retaining her TBS Title with a win over Hikaru Shida at All Out.
