AEW’s Mercedes Mone Surprised By British Sausage

Mercedes Mone had a surprising reaction to a British sausage as she gets prepared to clash once again with Toni Storm in Scotland.

Mercedes Mone failed to dethrone Storm as AEW Women’s World Champion at All In Texas, but before Forbidden Door takes place, the two women will get their hands on each other once again. Forbidden Door will see Athena challenge for Toni Storm’s title while Mercedes Mone will put her TBS Title on the line in a four-way match against challengers from AEW, CMLL, and STARDOM.

Before Forbidden Door, Dynamite takes place in Glasgow, Scotland, with that show seeing Mone team up with Athena to take on the pairing of Toni Storm and Alex Windsor.

Mercedes Mone Hates Pickled Eggs

Mercedes Mone took on SPORTBible’s Snack Wars, pitting UK snacks against counterparts from the United States. Mone looked horrified to be confronted with a hot dog, and a saveloy and chips in the first round, but the UK won out as she seemed genuinely surprised that the saveloy sausage was actually edible.

However, while a saveloy supper might be a chip shop favourite that went down well, another staple of the UK chippy did not fare so well. Mone was confronted for the first time in her life by a pickled egg, which is exactly what it sounds like. Mone had to spit out the egg as it was all too much to bear.

In the end, the UK and the US drew 4-4 in the Snack Wars, with the US rallying late in the game as Toxic Waste beat out Liquorice Allsorts and a Boston Creme Pie being favoured over the UK’s national treasure, Colin the Caterpillar.
