Mercedes Mone Seen With Top WWE Star

Mercedes Mone has reunited with an old friend from WWE showing that certain connections run deeper than wrestling loyalties.

As Sasha Banks in WWE, Mone helped revolutionise women’s wrestling in the company with many taking notice of her incredible match with Bayley in NXT.

Over the next few years, the two stars would be beloved tag team partners and hated rivals as they appeared to drive the best out of each other. Now over a year and a half since Mercedes Mone walked out of WWE, she has reunited publicly with her old friend once again.

Bayley took to social media to share photos of her reuniting with her former tag team partner on the red carpet premiere of the upcoming Hulu movie, Self Reliance.

Where Will Mercedes Mone Wrestle Next?

Following the end of her spell in WWE, Mercedes Mone headed to Japan where she became the IWGP Women’s Champion. However, it was in her quest to become the NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion in May 2023 that she suffered an injury that has kept her out of action ever since.

Mercedes Mone is believed to be AEW bound, with her debut in the company rumoured to be taking place sooner rather than later. Mone was shown on AEW TV in Wembley Stadium at All In where she was seen watching the action from the stands.
